The City of Racine is committed to providing our eligible residents with options to cast your vote in the upcoming election.
Exercising our right to vote is at the heart of our country’s democracy. In the midst of a global pandemic, many of our City of Racine citizens are unsure of their voting options.
The City of Racine is one of five Wisconsin cities to receive a grant from the Center for Tech and Civic life to implement the Wisconsin Safe Voting plan – a vision for a safe, inclusive, and secure voting process in the upcoming presidential election.
The City of Racine’s main objectives with this is initiative are:
Encourage and increase absentee voting by mail
Expand voter education and outreach to disenfranchised populations
Hire and train poll workers, particularly high school, college and technical school students
Ensure a safe, efficient and inclusive election
Become a Poll Worker
Play a key role in protecting the integrity of our democracy! The City of Racine is recruiting poll workers for the upcoming general election on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
